Description
A nice pressing of the Folk Singer album by Muddy Waters on Chess Records (CH 1483). The label information on the back cover reads: "Chess Records, a division of All Platinum Record Group, 96 West Street, Englewood, New Jersey 07631."
The orange and blue labels read: "Chess - A Division of All Platinum Record Group." The hand-etched matrix reads "CH-1483." There is also a machine-etched "A" and what looks like a British flag in the trail off on side 2.
The front cover is very clean and glossy with a slight ring impression. The corners are all dinged a bit and there is a slight three-inch crease in the top right corner. There is a cut-out notch in the top right corner. Above the title there is a "C 473" written in black pen. The back cover is very clean with no discoloration a slight ring impression.
The vinyl is VG+ (9 out of 10, vinyl looks immaculate aside from a spec or two of dust). This LP comes from a non-smoking home. The record you see in the picture is the record you will receive.
Shipping will be $4.00 for media mail in the U.S. I ship internationally -- but prefer that international bidders contact me first. I usually ship within 24 hours of receiving payment. I will combine shipping if you win multiple items. Also, I tend to recycle boxes, but I always make sure to pack items, particularly records, securely.
