Low start!.....NO Reserve!.....NO high priced ‘Buy It Now’.
Very rare Private Pressing album conceived by a certain Reg Webb – the story of a modern youth – his dreams and hopes. Musically it’s a mix of proggy sounds, ethereal girl vocals and funky jazzy workouts. Chorus and soloists are students and staff of North-East Essex Technical College and School of Art.
This private, small budget release (possibly only a few pressed) is well worth a listen. There is a scuff on track two, so a click is audible. Rest of the LP plays fine with a little crackle, but nothing serious.
The sleeve is unlaminated, very good with tiny creases only. No rips or writing. There is no record number.
The first two tracks are wrong way round in order on the record and 'Hitch Hike To Freedom' listed on the sleeve is not on the LP. This was mentioned on an 'errata' insert which is missing from the LP. To sum up: a super-rare record that doesn’t come round often. A lost gem from the early 1970s.
