Mostly fast and heavy power-trio hard rock,They obviously knew how to play, releasing no fewer than 7 singles earlier as The Fabulous Pharoahs , but apparently shifted gears somewhat for this LP. Perhaps they were still hashing out this new musical direction for themselves. But hard rock fans, (of which I am one) should be able to appreciate this, warts and all, as it is still very good, and highly consistent. It just makes one wonder how much better they could have made it had they tinkered with it a little more
