Original 7" Demo/Promo - 45RPM
Stick To Your Guns -- Talk of the Town
Up for auction is Motley Crue's first single ever produced, PLUS this is one of their very first demos ever distributed! This 7" 45rpm was a Demo/Promo that was sent to people in the music business to introduce them to a new band called Motley Crue!!
This is an original 7" 45 RPM Vinyl of the first Motley Crue single:

I got these when I first began working after I got out of school in the early 80s -- I worked for a music management and concert promotion company in Beverly Hills, CA, called Management III/Concerts West. We managed a lot of big acts at the time and would receive demo and promo tapes of new, up & coming artists who were looking for representation. Luckily, I put this away for safe keeping back in 1981 with a few other 45's, and here it is today almost 25 years later in never played, absolutely MINT condition!
The 7" 45RPM is in it's original outer sleeve that is near MINT with the original inner white paper sleeve. Etched on the inner rim of the record on both sides are the numbers:
SIDE A: MC 001-A R-7224 VS-XTAL L-5354
SIDE B: MC 001-B R-7225 VS-XTAL L-5354-X
I tried to get close-ups of these etched #'s, but they were too hard to photograph... note that the "VS" also looks like "JS" and the "L" on the B side looks like it was an "R" that got etched over into an "L". I don't know if this is important, so I'm describing in detail.
