Wow! Hot off the production line, this is the much-awaited new model, the Moth RCM Mk2 Pro.
With a switchable forced-air cooling system this is the one built for continuous heavy duty use. Ideal for Record / Hi-Fi Shops or those using the machine to clean LP's for others.
Brand new & boxed, complete with perspex lid, fluid, brush, full instructions & 12 months comprehensive parts and labour guarantee.
The Mark 2 version is a great improvement over the Mk 1, as it cleans bi-directionally, allowing the brush to 'get into the groove' (I think Madonna uses one) more efficiently. Gets rid of crackles, pops, static, fingermarks etc, and makes records sound 'cleaner' & with less surface noise. Even makes brand new records sound better as it gets rid of any mould release agent lurking in the bottom of the groove. This is particularly noticeable between tracks, which sounds obvious but what I am trying to explain is the 'CD like' total black silence. It takes less than two minutes to thoroughly clean an LP. Although this machine is designed to clean 12" records, you can quite easily clean 10" & 7" with a bit of manual dexterity.
This really is an economical machine to run - 1 Litre of Moth fluid costs £17.50 & will clean up to 1000 LP's. A spare cleaning brush is £12.00, and a pair of pads for the vacuum pipe are £5.00. These are the only consumables you'll ever need & are readily available from me.
I do recommend that following cleaning, records are put in a new anti-static sleeve to minimise any dust or static contamination & I supply the superb Nagaoka anti-static sleeves for £12.00 per 50 pack.
As retailed the machine comes without fluid, however, I will provide the winning bidder with 250ml of fluid free of charge.

" With LPs getting rarer, many vinyl enthusiasts want to keep their collections in pristine condition. The Moth RCM, used properly, will make your best discs sound better, and salvage quite a few noisy LPs that would have been unplayable without treatment. Your stylus cartridge will last longer too."
Audiophile Magazine
"Being a keen secondhand record collector I will be reluctant to give back the Moth RCM and can heartily recommend it to fellow enthusiasts."
Hi-Fi Choice Magazine
" Before I begin this review I think it important to make a few things plain about this machine.
1. IF you have lots (say 500+) of records.
2. IF you ever buy second hand records.
3. IF your house has any dust at all ?
YOU MUST BUY THIS MACHINE...
Wow! - What a statement, and one I doubt if I'll ever make again. I suppose I'd better justify this otherwise my credibility, as TNT's cheapskate, will go out of the window...
Firstly this machine is, as far as I know, unique in that it is available as a kit for around 200 pounds sterling or ready made for 400 pounds. To put that in perspective, as if I needed to, that's the cost of a decent second hand LP12/Ittok or 400 records from a car boot sale."
