Legendary GARCIA PSYCH LP, highly sought after for the cover artwork by Psychedelic Guru ABDUL MATI and for the mind-blowing music contained within! Album features keyboardist HOWARD WALES who had played on THE GRATEFUL DEAD's 1970 release "AMERICAN BEAUTY" before the two joined forces to record this avant-garde album on the sly. Only a handful of this album were pressed by the small label DOUGLAS 5 in 1971 and all copies sold within days. By the early 70's the album had slipped into obscurity and this rare collectable was born! The album's back cover shows Garcia and Wales sharing a Hooteroll? and the cover folds out to show the pair looking quite mellow. Each track on this record is a psychedelic masterpiece - all fuled by Garcia's genius guitar work! Record and cover remain in excellent condition.
