This auction is for the limited edition 9 LP vinyl box set from Mosaic Records - The Complete Columbia Recordings of Miles Davis With John Coltrane, MQ9-191, released in 2000. The set comes with the original box, all 9 LP's, and the booklet. Numbered limited pressing, set # 81 of 5,000 copies issued.This is my spare copy, BRAND NEW, NEVER PLAYED, NEVER OPENED .

The 24-page integral booklet contains extensive liner notes, full discography of the time period, and many rare photographs of all the musicians.

Recorded at Columbia Studio D, New York, New York on October 26, 1955; Columbia 30th Street Studio, New York, New York between June 5, 1956 and March 21, 1961; live at the Newport Jazz Festival, Newport Rhode Island on July 3, 1958; live at the Persian Room, Plaza Hotel, New York, New York on September 9, 1958.
