Description
Up for auction is a long out-of-print Mosaic Records Box Set of "Miles Davis: The Complete Plugged Nickel Sessions” The Catalogue Number is MQ10-158, and consists of 10 LPs pressed on heavy 180 gram vinyl. The set is hand-numbered #2822 of a limited edition of 5000.
This set was purchased by me directly from Mosaic Records in 2001, and has only been handled a few times since then. The second photo shows the actual box set being auctioned. The LPs and LP-size booklet are all in NEAR-MINT to MINT condition. Two or three records were played once, the remainder have never been played or removed from their sleeves.
The outer box is generally in NEAR-MINT condition. However, there is a small two-inch seam-split on the bottom seam of the back box, which is highlighted in the third photo. This occurred during shipping from Mosaic Records, not due to mishandling since then.
Box set will be shipped in a protective polyethylene sleeve and inside a very sturdy 14" x 14" x 4" box with packing "peanuts" to ensure that the set (especially the corners) arrives undamaged. The net weight of the box set is heavy: 5 pounds 4 ounces. The shipping weight will be approximately 7 pounds.
- Shipping within the USA by US Postal Service Media mail is $5.11 (plus buyer is required to pay 80-cents for Delivery Confirmation).
- Shipping to Canada is $33.00 by First Class Mail International.
- Shipping to the rest of the world is $46.30 by First Class Mail International, or $60.50 by Express Mail International.
All buyers also required to pay $2.50 charge for cost of special 14x14x4 shipping box. USPS Insurance is available upon request.
