MOSAIC RECORDS 6-LP boxed set: Long out of print, I think this is a fair starting price, no reserve.

The Complete Johnny Hodges Sessions 1951-1955: MOSAIC MR6-126 [#1076/7500]. (Condition: records are near mint; booklet is in good shape w/ a couple of minor crinkles from use, box’s corners are nicely intact, front photo is VG++, but there is a slight split in the top middle seam of the box. Not serious, but should be mentioned.) This fine box represents the following complete Norgran 12-inch albums by Hodges: Memories of Ellington (1004), Johnny Hodges (1009), Dance Bash (1025), Creamy (1045), Castle Rock (1048), In A Tender Mood (1059), Used To Be Duke (1060), The Blues (1061). /\ Several of the "extra" trks included had been released on a variety of compendium-styled Norgran/Verve releases from the same period. /\ Several artists have major parts in these sessions including: Lawrence Brown, Al Sears, Sonny Greer, Emmett Berry, Flip Phillips, Ben Webster, Red Callender, J. C. *** NOTICE ON MAILING: I feel that my eBay rating & feedback assures buyers that I am a responsible seller (& buyer). One who follows through on deals and that goes out of his way to be fair in the rare case of dispute. Yet to buyers new to my operation, here goes:

1.) I only use USPS.

2.) I guarantee that packages will be correctly addressed and safely packed. (That’s why I ask buyers to respond via email with their mailing address. I cut it out and tape it to the address label.)

3.) I will take NO Responsibility for LOSS of UNINSURED packages. I’ll say it another way, no refunds on lost packages, if they are not insured.

4.) I know that this can be a hardship, especially for International Buyers due to the prohibitive expense of mailing & insuring Parcel Post, which is the only way insured packages can be sent outside of the USA. Insurance is not available for the cheaper Letter-Post delivery. Yet keep in mind that out of about 1000 items that we’ve mailed throughout the world, only a mere handful (perhaps 5 or 6) has not been delivered. So the odds are extremely good that International Packages will arrive safely. But the buyer (domestic or international) is the one who takes the chance.

5.) This goes for domestic items too: no refunds on undelivered, uninsured packages. As to insured domestic packages: it is the responsibility of the buyer to collect insurance on these items. I will provide all appropriate sales documentation; and if necessary, the proper postal forms to the buyer.

Not to put too fine of a point on it -- but if you don’t feel that you can live with the above caveats -- don’t bid on my items.
