Morrissey - Maladjusted LP - US 1997 - Mercury Records 314536036-1
- From my own Smiths/Morrissey 300 records personal collection.
- From my own personal collection, bought by myself and has been kept sealed in a special metal box for records and thus its fantastic condition.
- Record is new & sealed.
- As with so many of the albums released by Morrissey, 'Maladjusted' has now become very difficult to track down on vinyl.
- By the time the album was released in 1997, the decline in vinyl sales was well underway and relatively few copies will consequently have been pressed compared to the CD format. This was further compounded by the relatively poor chart performance of the album at the time, peaking at number 61 in the US, which limited the demand for the album at the time in this original vinyl pressing run.
- 'Maladjusted' was released on vinyl only in the UK and, as here, in the US, making it a relatively rare sight in LP form.
- This copy is a true scarcity in that it is still fully sealed in its original 'shrink wrap' from 1997, and still has the original green sticker on the front giving details of tracks and the catalogue number.
- Furthermore, this copy does not have the small circular 'punch out' which is common to so many copies of this LP and was an indication that those copies were sold off at a reduced price owing to poor sales.
- Although it is still sealed, it is known that this LP is pressed on very nice 'heavyweight' vinyl on the Mercury label.
- In addition, this pressing has the distinction of carrying the additional track Sorrow Will Come In The End which was missing from all UK formats, most likely for 'legal' reasons, and this is very likely the only place that this track can be found anywhere on vinyl.

Shipment & Handling
1) I will combine shipping on up to 3 winning records; I can only get 3 records total per box with packing materials; that means that if you buy 4 records I will need to start another box, which results in adding the right shipping cost for the second box.
3 records refer to LP/12''; in case 7'' records are involved I assume I can combine 2 LP/12'' + one 7'' or 1 LP/12'' + three 7'' etc.
2) I use dedicated record size box with bubble wrap around each record for maximum protection plus strong tape on the outside of the box.
3) Unless mentioned otherwise, double LP will be considered as 2 records.
4) To avoid misunderstanding, please wait for my invoice once the auction ends.
Shipping Costs
1) Expedited shipping using Israel Eco Post service, (full tracking of the package at any time including notification of delivery); buyers from below listed countries must use this shipping method:
* USA, Austria, Italy, Belgium, UK, Germany, Holland, Norway, Spain, Poland, Finland, France, Switzerland, Canada, Brazil, Hong-Kong: 15$ for 1-2 records, 19$ for 3 records.
* Denmark, Portugal, Sweden: 17$ for 1-2 records, 21$ for 3 records.
* Australia: 19$ for 1-2 records, 23$ for 3 records.
2) Standard registered airmail, (tracking should be done by the buyer once package leaves Israel; tracking number will be supplied upon shipment); this shipping method will be used for all countries aside the ones listed in the above expedited shipping method:
* Europe: 12$ for 1-2 records, 16$ for 3 records. * South/Center America: 14$ for 1-2 records, 18$ for 3 records.
* New Zealand: 15$ for 1-2 records, 19$ for 3 records.
