POSTAGE:
I add a very small fee onto actual postage costs to help cover packaging, & the ever increasing fees associated with selling. Ocasionally my postmaster allows an item to go through as a letter when I have charged parcel rate. I sometimes get asked for a refund when this happens. I then spend time doing bank transfers of about $2. I will no longer do this, my time is too limited. If you don't like the postage amount please don't bid. My postage charges are very reasonable.
I only post about once a week, usually on Tuesdays. I have 4 children who take up a lot of my time, one has high functioning autism & one has Asperger's Syndrome. If one of them is having a bad day it s almost impossible for me to get any work done. Sometimes they have bad weeks so your parcel WILL be delayed in this case. Please try & be understanding & polite if this happens, my life is challenging & stressful enough without people complaining to me about their parcel taking so long. If you do want to enquire about your parcel please be polite. I am constantly amazed at how rude some people can be via email. Please remember I am a human being & like to be treated with courtesy, I will always return the favour ( :
If you look at my feedback you will see that I usually post quite quickly & chances are that you will receive your item promptly, I just can't guarantee it !!!
If you are in a hurry for your parcel please let me know & I'll see what I can do but please ask BEFORE bidding if you need it by a certain date as I may not be able to meet your request.
I cannot be responsible for your parcel once it has been posted. I am happy to arrange for insurance at your request. I have had less than 7 parcels go missing in 6 years of selling, it is extremely rare but it does happen. If your parcel does go missing (which is extremely unlikely) I WILL NOT REFUND OR REPLACE YOUR ITEM!!! IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO INSURE IF YOU ARE AFRAID OF LOSS IN THE POST. IF YOUR ARCEL IS LOST & YOU CLAIM YOUR MONEY BACK THROUGH PAYPAL, I AM THE ONE WHO PAYS FOR THIS. IF YOU THINK I SHOULD COVER YOUR MISFORTUNE OF LOSS IN THE POST PLEASE DON'T BUY FROM ME!!! if you think you won't be able to resist the temtation of making me pay for your loss in the post, please ask for registered post, it costs $3. I don't think it fair to insist on making you pay it like some sellers are, so please be fair to me in return if you get unlucky!
