Spectacular 60s psychedelic lounge jazz beat album devised, arranged, conducted and produced by Mark Wirtz

Mark Wirtz later produced the only album of Tomorrow (a psychedelic masterpiece), and went on to be the mastermind behind the legendary “A Teenage Opera” project and the ‘Grocer Jack’ "Excerpt from a Teenage Opera" single featuring Tomorrow's singer Keith West.

The heavyweight band on the ‘MOOD MOSAIC’ album feature the absolute cream of the London jazz and rock session scene including:

Big Jim Sullivan (the legendary 60s session guitarist and ‘Sitar Beat’ creator - on lead guitars and sitar),

Nicky Hopkins (of later Rolling Stones fame),

John Baldwin (bass, later known as John Paul Jones of Led Zeppelin),

with Brian Daly, Dave Perkins, Dougie Wright, Kenny Clare and Denis Lopez.

and amazing lead scat jazz vocals from The Ladybirds

Superbly and innovatively engineered by Geoff Emerick (Beatles, Sgt.Pepper etc.)

The album features the track ‘A Touch Of Velvet - A Sting Of Brass’, in itself a Northern Soul classic instrumental.

Super stylish psych 60s artwork sleeve

The record is in excellent condition, with no visible marks or scratches and only slight spindle marks on the label.

The sleeve is in very good condition, a sturdy laminate sleeve with only a little wear on the edge of the opening and on the bottom corners. There is three small tears on the back laminate folds on the bottom left and right corners, and at the top right corner, but no major damage – and some shrinking of the laminate on the front cover and a little ring wear at the top of the front sleeve – but overall in very good condition for an album of its age.
