Description

A crown jewel of the early 80s minimal synth scene. In 1984, the MONUMENTS, consisting of Andrea Costa and Mauro Tavella from Torino, Italy, released their only official record, a mini LP called "Age" comprising six incredibly fantastic electropop tracks. Some critics thought of this mini LP as being the best electropop record ever coming out of Italy. Unfortunately, the duo didn't make it any further under the name of MONUMENTS, though even to this very day they follow their careers as composers, studio owners and explorers of electronic music.
