Description
THE MONOCLES-45-“The Spider & The Fly” b/w “On The Other Side Of Happiness”-Chicory Records #CH-407-DJ Issue-Great Acid-Garage-Punk=PUNKADELIC out of Boulder, Colorado....A side is NOT the Stones’ classic as you all know...ALL or most of you know this fantastic, deranged acid trip 45 from the ACID ‘Pebbles’ Volume 3 comp...if not, it is totally brain-damaged insanity-based on the Vincent Price classic film “The Fly”, with mounds of echo and flipped out Vox Continental organ. The ‘lead singer’ of sorts keeps stating “The spider is getting closer...closer...” and, like the fly in the spider web in the movie, a “Help Me” response drenched in echo & reverb emerges...B side is weird too, very unlike the A side, I don’t even know how to describe it?? It is like bizarre folk-punk with these off-key backing vocals...sounds like an attempt to be commercial, but it is too messed up...has a cool 12-string lead guitar break... Condition: Record is VG+++ or better.........some light surface scuffs/paper scuffs visible in certain light angles...actually a really nice copy... Label is Clean-both sides... ...SHIPPING INFORMATION: --NOTE: WE ARE NOW ACCEPTING PAYPAL!!!--- If your mailing/shipping address is located IN the United States, here are the postal rates-the choice is yours: Postal (Postage & Handling) Rates (In the United States): PRIORITY: $6.50 FIRST CLASS: $5.25 Media Mail: $5.00 Insurance (if you want it insured-) add $1.75 Insurance-(if you want it) if value is over $50.00 add $2.50 Insurance-(if you want it) if value is over $150.00 add $3.85 ...IF YOU ARE LOCATED anywhere outside of the US here are the Postal (Postage & Handling-AIR MAIL) Rates: EUROPE (UK, SPAIN, FRANCE, GERMANY, NETHERLANDS,SWITZERLAND, etc...): $8.60 // --CANADA: $5.60//--JAPAN: $9.05//--AUSTRALIA: $11.60//--SOUTH AMERICA: $7.95//NORWAY, SWEDEN: $8.60// --Any other countries not mentioned contact me for accurate rates---...Additional information on PAYMENT METHODS: As mentioned-PAYPAL--Money orders-International Money Orders... ...NOTE:check out some of the other items listed at this time of similar style...some BOSS STUFF for sure!!!
