Description
EXTREMELY RARE MONKEES PROMO ''LAST TRAIN TO CLARKESVILLE'' This is a 'demo' of the 'MONKEES' 'LAST TRAIN TO CLARKESVILLE' from the mid? 60's. From 'RCA VICTOR' handwritten on label '14th Oct RCA 1547' and typewritten on the label ''LAST TRAIN TO CLARKESVILLE' ''THE MONKEES'' Large ''A'' on label for 'advance' copy - 'demonstration copy not for sale' also written on the actual vinyl 'F-10 1-40 ON B or 2-40 F.P.' and I haven't got a clue what that means - i've never tried playing the other side as there is nothing on the label. This record came into my possession years ago as my late Uncle used to work for 'THAMES T.V/I.T.V.'' in the 60's/70's/80's and I presume this is how he came to get hold of them as his daughter was a regular in the 'READY STEADY GO' audience. Not sure of the acual year of release but I know I was still at school as the ''MONKEES'' were one of my favourites when I was about 13!! The record has been well played and it does sound a bit 'tinny' (not sure if that's through my playing it or that is the actual sound!!!) - any questions please feel free to ask - I have many 'promo's that I will be putting on e-bay but half of them i've never heard of!!!
