"Genes & Spirits" first came out in 2000, and is Moses' third studio LP, a follow-up to his debuts in the 90s. "Spirits Of Tembisa" is the real killer for the diggers and DJs here, touching down with fast breakbeats and an engulfing bass that reminds us of Photek in his late 90s golden era. However, there are also plenty of moodier, more ethereal moments like "Itumeleng" or the charming tones of "Genes & Spirits" itself. Whatever your needs, Molelekwa will undoubtedly satisfy them.
