Mega Rare and 100% ORIGINAL OFFICIAL PRESSING of a Mohawks Library LP on US label Musidisc called "POP/ROCK" from "Musidisc Series Vol. 1, No. 3", published by Emil Asher Inc, New York (197?).
This LP is in as good condition as you are ever likely to find it, that's if it turns up ever again!This has to be by far the rarest LP ever from the main men behind the Mohawks, Alan Hawkshaw and Keith Mansfield. It contains the best tracks from both the mighty "Champ" lp and the legendary "Big Beat Vol. 1" lp."Roving Reporter", "Senior Thump", "Tap Footer" and "Work Out" are the big Hawkshaw Mohawks tunes, "Funky Fanfare" is the Mansfield track and there is also a Mansfield/Hawkshaw composition called "One Step Ahead" that I have personally never seen on an album anywhere. There's also some tracks on here by other artists, with a killer track by M. Hunter called "Grandslam" which is as funky as any Mohawks tune.
