Description

You are bidding for an original first pressing edition of the self Titled MOGUL THRASH Album

If you are reading this, the chances are that you know the band. On the off chance that you don't, Mogul Thrash were fronted by James Litherland, who had previously played guitar with Jon Hiseman's Coliseum in the Valentyne Suite era. Also in the band were John Wetton, who ended up with Family and many other bands, and Michael Rosen and Roger Ball, two fine brass musicians. The album was produced by Brian Auger, of the "Trinity" fame, and it was engineered by Eddy Offord

Before I begin, please note I'm not a record dealer.!! I’m moving house and have decided that I will sell my record collection that has been sitting in a cabinet doing nothing for the last 40 years !!! I've replaced all my collection electronically, so I'm letting my collection go to those who will collect it and value it more than I do. I give as honest an opinion of the record/condition as I can in simple terms

Most of the albums that I have are first editions, ie I bought them as soon as they were released. That said, if you require any other info to clarify their autenticity, please ask !! I bought this album in 1971 on release. Little known, but very rare !!

Hopefully I’ve listed all the necessary information below however if you have any questions or queries please ask.

  • I would rate the overall condition of this album as very good. The vinyl is not warped  and is in clean condition.
  • The RIM Matrix info is SIDE 1 is ZGBK-0402-4C, with A2C hand etched. SIDE 2 is ZGBK 0403 1C A1D hand etched.
  • The labels on both sides are in very good condition, no spindle markings on either side. The inner sleeve is still the original polythene lined sleeve, a little discoloured, but still in good nick.
  • Record looks in excellent condition. There are a few surface marks, but no scratching that I can see with the naked eye.
  • The sleeve, (which I personally think is awful) is in very good condition. There very few scuffs and wear marks on the outer edges and corners. The spine is almost perfect. Overall the sleeve looks very decent condition.
  • As I said, I'm not an expert on record conditioning, but looking at what else is on offer on Ebay, this one looks good !! As a 100% ebayer, I always try to be objectively truthful and honest in all descriptions. I will send out by the best value I can get for the postage charged, and will securely wrap. I will always get proof of postage. but If you want special next day delivery, I'm happy to agree that with you before you send me the payment. The choice is yours ! Paypal only please, or cash on collection.
  • If you are bidding from overseas. I will ONLY send by Airmail "signed for" delivery. I have no intention of getting into any delivery disputes. When it goes over my Post Office counter and I get a bit of paper to that effect, then it's yours for ever !!! Please ask me for a quote before paying.

Please ask any questions that you have re this album. Thanks for looking
