Now based in Rome, Abul Mogard revisits one of his most defining works with its first physical appearance, and following its original digital release earlier in the decade. Long associated with slow-moving drone and electroacoustic composition, Mogard places patience and texture at the centre of the project. 'Against a White Cloud' and 'In True Contemplation' unfold as dense harmonic fields with their suspended chords and spectral overtones gradually thickening over time. The twenty-one-minute 'Along the River' anchors the second half, drifting between weight and near-silence with a measured, elegiac pull. Throughout, subtle shifts in tone and space drive the music forward, rewarding deep, uninterrupted listening.
