THE MODS-45-“Empty Heart” b/w “Sweets For My Sweet”-Knight Records #HHP K-105-KILLER 5-Star MONSTER out of Tampa, Florida, 1966. A side is TOTALLY OVER THE EDGE FUZZ GUITAR version of the Stones “Empty Heart”-fuzz guitar chords given the Kink’s Krunch ‘All Day & All Of The Night’ treatment...One of the most KILLER deranged Kinks’-Inspired fuzz lead guitar breaks ever...Real DYNAMITE. Most of you probably heard this from one of the many Florida comps over the years...B side is a garagy version of the Searchers’ hit...Killer band, record and label...Holy Grail stuff for sure! Condition: Record is VG+ on ‘Empty Heart’ side-some light scuffs visible in certain light angles...other side is between G+ and VG-; this looks like it was on a jukebox and has the jukebox scuffs on this side, some light surface scratches-some background noise evident at times...plays fine, “Empty Heart” sounds KILLER and plays great...
