Description

MODERN ART ~ Stereo Machines And Kenesis Cassette

Ultra-rare* original UK 1985 C60 Cassette only release through Color Tapes. There is no number on the inlay/sleeve but a #4 is scratched inside the plastic case - see pic. Signed by Gary Ramon.

Reliable Discogs comment states this is an: Art gallery distributed only tape circa 1985-87 related to Modern Art.  No label name nor catalogue number printed on the sleeve.

Recently, excerpts from this series of Art Gallery tapes have turned up on the excellent Cold Waves of Color releases # 1 & #3 and are listed & pictured on the LP inserts.

Modern Art was Gary Ramon's 80s Cold Wave/Psych band before Sun Dial.

*In a 2002 interview Gary talked about some of these (Cassette) releases: "Most of these things were released in editions from anything between 1 copy and 10-20 copies... "
