Description

MOBY GRAPE (1st Album) by MOBY GRAPE   ****MONO VINYL w/18" x 24" "Finger" Poster!****    Sundazed Records Reissue (2007)                                     ---------------------WITHDRAWN FROM CIRCULATION SHORTLY AFTER RELEASE, RARE and OUT OF PRINT!!!!-------------------

Released in 1967, "Moby Grape" is one of the true lost gems in rock history. Screwed by the ineptitude of Columbia Records, their crooked management, and their own fragile egos, drug use, and even mental illness, "Moby Grape", despite incredibly glowing reviews, was doomed to fail. But to most people who have heard it, it fits proudly alongside, and even surpasses the work of many of the California bands of that era. I've always played it back to back with "Buffalo Springfield Again" for optimum listening pleasure!

Sundazed finally began reissuing remastered Moby Grape albums in 2007...but the usual bad luck dogged the Grape again...a former manager forced the label to recall the first few albums shortly after their release on CD & vinyl. Who knows if & when these will get released again? So, these albums are out now out of print, and getting more rare by the day!

Songs : (Side 1) Hey Grandma/Mr. Blues/Fall On You/8:05/Come In The Morning/Omaha/Naked, If I Want To (Side2) Someday/Ain't No Use/Sitting By The Window/Changes/Lazy Me/Indifference  ****All 13 tracks in glorious MONO!****

Condition : LP has been kept in a plastic sleeve since the day I first slitted the shrink wrap, the LP itself has been kept in a VRP anti-static sleeve as well. It's been played twice, recording it to CD on the second play, and hasn't been played since. Poster has only been unfolded a couple of times, and has never been on a wall, in a frame, etc.  OVERALL CONDITION is a very solid "A".

Please email me with any questions you might have, and best of luck if you bid. Check out my other listings, including other Moby Grape Sundazed reissues!
