Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab's release of "The Rolling Stones" Box, catalog # MFSL RC-1, originally released in October 1984. Only 10,000 Stones sets made, this set was #3147 of all the albums that were pressed. The Limited Edition Library of Original Master Recordings, transferred direct from the original 1963 to 1969 master recording tapes of The Rolling Stones, includes an Art Book that reproduces The Rolling Stones original album cover graphics including the 3-D Satanic Majesties Cover . This Rolling Stones collection utilizes MFSL's exclusive half-speed mastering music transference technology, the world's highest quality vinyl pressings and extraordinarily protective packaging. In addition to "Get Your Ya-Ya's Out"(recorded live at The Madison Square Garden 1969), The Rolling Stones limited edition library includes these classic Rolling Stones Original Master Recording albums: The Rolling Stones, "12 x 5", "Out Of Our Heads", "Aftermath", "Between The Buttons", "Their Satanic Majesties Request", "Beggar's Banquet", "Let It Bleed", and the double disc compilation album "Hot Rocks". The Rolling Stones Art Book included with this collection is a handsome, oversize full-color Art Book. The Rolling Stones Art Book displays the original album cover graphics of each of the albums in the collection, duplicated from the original film transparencies, printed on art quality paper stock, this 12 1/4" x 12 1/4" volume also describes the technical process utilized in the creation of Original Master Recordings. The Art Book also includes interviews with the Rolling Stones engineers and producers. Each of the many elements included in the The Rolling Stones is encased in a luxurious outer presentation case. Framed in a sturdy wooden housing, this presentation box is covered in an elegant black fabric emblazoned with the striking red logotype of The Rolling Stones collection. For ultimate protection, the eleven Original Master Recording Discs are stored in perfect vertical; alignment within the case's tray divider system. This prevents unnecessary wear and tear and avoids possible disc warpage. The set also comes with a Geo-Disc. The result can be incredibly improved playback performance. Each individual Original Master Recording disc is enveloped in an anti-static, anti-abrasive "rice paper" sleeve for maximum vinyl protection. The sleeved album is enclosed in a stiff insert board that supplies security against breakage and warpage.
