Hello and welcome. Beginning in the 1960s, I made it my goal to collect every 5-star record still available, and I continued my search for 40 years. While not all the records I list for sale reached that lofty goal, they do represent an undying search for the unique and wonderful in the world of sound. I'm happy to be able to offer them to you now. Here is what you're bidding on:  
TITLE & ARTIST: "Dukas' Sorcerer's Apprentice" - by Dimitri Mitropoulos Conducting the Minneapolis Symphony Orchestra on the Columbia Masterworks Record label (X-212), in beautiful original monophonic sound, issue date 1942.
CONDITION: SLEEVE - Excellent(Jacket has spectacular graphic on front; inside back cover features photos of many other similar albums); RECORD - Excellent(Columbia Masterworks 12" shellac 78 rpm records (2) have very light wear - visually graded under special daylight balanced spotlight).  
SPECIAL FEATURES: This beautiful vintage double-78 album, in superb condition and glowing with vitality, features a beautiful front cover depicting the bucket-carrying broomstick.  Both of the 12" shellac 78s are in excellent condition, very heavy, and very well preserved. If you treasure rare vintage records, this is a set for the ages. In fact, in all musical history, this set is an iconic standout of the highest order.

OUR GRADING SYSTEM: We grade visually, and we are happy to listen to any LP and give you an aural grade as well. SS (Still Sealed as from the factory); NM (Near Mint - our highest grade; the vinyl has only a very few light marks that do not affect play); VG++ (Very Good Plus Plus - a few more light marks than Near Mint; still a great record that plays near perfectly); VG+ (Very Good Plus - an enjoyable, played and loved, obviously used but still listenable record, usually with some light pops, but free of major audible distraction; jacket may be lightly worn, slightly dinged, even very lightly split, but NEVER trashed); VG (Very Good) and below - we usually do NOT sell these, but if we have some good reason to offer such a record, we will explain completely).
