Downey Studios, conveniently located on the other side of the velvet rope at Wetzels Record Town, was arguably one of the coolest spots to get wax near the Pacific. Many of the most coveted soul tunes, sleaziest riffs, raunchiest horns & tassel twirling surf numbers were placed down in grooves there. Now you can own this hard-to-find disc in ultra rare MINT condition!
The REVELS were a proto surf band formed in San Luis Obispo, Ca. in 1959. They are: Norman Knowles Dan Arnold Merell Fankhauser Anthony Hilder
This rare original copy is part of an amazing treasure discovered stashed away in a house in the Philadelphia area. The owner was an avid collector & part of a syndicated Philly radio program in the 1960s & 70s, acquiring copies of many now extremely hard to find 45s & LPs. Many of these records have not seen the light of day since then! Be sure to check back often as we will be listing titles regularly... This is a great find and a gem for your collection.
