Miles Ramsay And Dave Robbins Big Band-From CBC Vancouver, CBC Radio Canada Transcription, LM-34, 1960s.

Extremely rare Canadian/broadcast-only vocal jazz LP featuring material by Randazzo/Weinstein (“Going Out Of My Head”), Clayton (“Gotta Travel On”), Kahn/Brown (“You Stepped Out Of A Dream”), Nash/Weill (“Speak Low”). Fans of Judy Singh and Sheila Graham take note. This album was only for radio play, pressed in minor quantities (100 or less), and never sold in stores. Early LM (light music) titles are virtually extinct/off-the-radar of most serious collectors, and most importantly, heavily enjoyable spins for fans of sunshine pop, vocal jazz, and soft jazz groove. Comes w/ stock CBC Radio Canada stock soft 12” sleeve. Deep cuts. Recommended.
