Description:

What many consider to be the greatest jazz record ever. Here's a chance to hear how it sounded back in the day on this original pressing, deep-groove mono album. Columbia CL 1355. Six-eye label. 1D/1D stampers (I have yet to see a definitive explanation on which matrix number is the earliest. The man whose record this is bought it the week it was released, and sadly has to part with it. Cover VG+, moderate staining rear, moderate shelfwear and edgewear . A few spindle marks. Vinyl is EX-: has light scuffs and a couple of light scratches, but the quality of the vinyl is superb, and these have only a minor effect on play. PLEASE NOTE: although most of the records in this sale have few or no marks, none is in perfect condition. If you are seeking perfect sound, you probably want CDs. Nearly all of these records are desirable items, due to content and/or rarity, despite any imperfections. GRADING: Sealed, NM, EX+, EX, EX-, VG+, VG, VG-, G. Every LP is play-graded. If you need further clarification on my grading, please email me. New Jersey shipments: 7% sales tax will be added. Serious bidders only! Non-payers will get negative feedback. All items guaranteed, minus postage (you pay return postage). Buyer is responsible for any import duties, taxes and/or fees.
