Early United States Mono pressing of this hard to find record album. The copy we are offering here is on the Deep Groove yellow and black Prestige label with LONG PLAYING MICROGROOVE at the bottom. The address on both record labels is “446 W. 50th ST., N.Y.C.”. The address on the back of the cover is “447 West 50th Street, New York 19, N.Y.”. Both sides of the LP have RVG in the dead wax.
The recording features Miles on trumpet, Sonny Rollins on tenor sax, Jackie McLean on alto sax, Walter Bishop on piano, Tommy Potter on bass, and Art Blakey on drums.
COVER: The one thing keeping this jacket from grading an exceptionally nice VG+ is a thin bottom center seam split, measuring about 1 inch. The cover shows light surface wear and the front still has some of its original glossy luster. The back bears a red stamp of the former owner’s name.
VINYL: The record grades a clean VG. Both record labels are in nice shape, with one bearing a red stamp of the former owner’s name.
