OK - this is super rare, a program for the Miles Davis May 19th, 1961 concert at Carnegie Hall, given as a benefit concert for the African Research Foundation. The concert was recorded and released as a live album titled “Miles Davis at Carnegie Hall” released in 1962 on the Columbia label as CL 1812. Because it was a one-night affair, this program is rather rare, at least I can’t find any other examples. It is an eight-page program that features the names of Sponsors and Patrons, information about the African Research Foundation, a bio of Miles Davis, a bio of Gil Evans, the arranger and orchestra leader for the concert and a listing of the songs to be performed and the various musicians.
