This is the 1961, Mono, 47 West 63rd, “RVG” stamped, “P” pressing of MILES DAVIS’ “Miles Davis – Volume 1” on Blue Note – BLP 1502.
The original Rudy Van Gelder sound, cut from the original tapes, pressed in the same era as the original recording. No tape loss from 60-year-old tapes! Hear the full spatial studio ambience of Englewood Cliffs. The REAL RVG.
VINYL has excellent gloss. VG+. Music signal is clean and powerful, no distortion. A few non feelable marks. Labels are clean with minimal spindle marks. See photos.
JACKET is VG+. Seams and spine are clean with wear. Back jacket is clean with faint scuffing. Corners may be worn. Please see photos.
