Description
This Miles Davis session, was recorded on November 16, 1956 and features Miles Davis (tp) John Coltrane (ts) Red Garland (p) Paul Chambers (b) Philly Joe Jones (d). SIDE A: Just Squeeze Me, No Greater Love and How Am I To Know. SIDE B:C Supposin’, Miles’ Theme and Stable Mates. The label reads “446 W. 50th ST., N.Y.C.” The record jacket finally has the correct address of 446 West 50th Street, New York 19, N.Y.” The initial “RVG A” and “RVG B” are stamped in the blank vinyl. This is a MONO recording.
I don’t often list any LPs that are VG+ but I did list this one as there is some slight surface noise on Side 1 Cut 1, probably due to extended play? The rest of the LP plays clean. There is a mark on SIDE B, but it does not interfere with play. Please consider this if you bid. There is little to no wear in and around the spindle hole on Side A. There is some slight sign of wear around the spindle hole on SIDE B. The vinyl still retains its original luster. The record jacket is graded EX as there is little to no sign of wear. As with all old LPs, there is some discoloration on the liner notes and a spot on the upper right corner on the liner notes where there was probably once was a tag..If you have any questions, please email me and I will get back to you as soon as possible. Thanks
