Description

MILES DAVIS  - Kind of Blue

Label: Classic Records

Cat#:  CS 8163

VINYL: M sealed
SLEEVE: M sealed

Bought this direct from Classic Records in 2001.  This is a very rare BLUE VINYL edition of this classic - a single disc (with the speed corrected) pressed on 200 grams of blue Queix SV-P vinyl.  Would love to keep it but can't really afford to since it is so rare - estimated 500 copies worldwide.

MY RECORDS ARE ACCURATELY GRADED!

MY RECORDS ARE CLEAN! As an added bonus , all unsealed records are cleaned on my brand new VPI HW-17i record machine using a three step process with state of the art Disc Doctor fluids.  I’m also including a brand new anti-static inner sleeve, so it's as clean as it can be. I’ll include the original inner sleeve unless it’s generic. I ship all vinyl in new, heavy cardboard LP mailers and for non-sealed records I place the vinyl outside of the sleeve to avoid seam splitting. NOTE: I am happy to unseal records and ship the vinyl outside of the sleeve at your request.  Otherwise I will ship sealed.

GOLDMINE GRADING

I grade using the Goldmine grading standard.

SEALED: Never opened...never played.  Still in original shrink.

MINT: It should appear to be perfect. No scuffs or scratches, blotches or stains, labels or writing, tears or splits. Mint means perfect.

NM: Otherwise mint but has one or two tiny inconsequential flaws that do not affect play. Covers should be close to perfect with minor signs of wear or age just becoming evident: slight ring-wear, minor denting to a corner, or writing on the cover should all be noted properly.

VG+: The record has been handled and played infrequently or very carefully. Not too far from perfect. On a disc, there may be light paper scuffs from sliding in and out of a sleeve or the vinyl or some of the original luster may be lost. A slight scratch that did not affect play would be acceptably VG+ for most collectors.

VG: Record displays visible signs of handling and playing, such as loss of vinyl luster, light surface scratches, groove wear and spindle trails. Some audible surface noise, but should not overwhelm the musical experience. Usually a cover is VG when one or two of these problems are evident: ring wear, seam splits, bent corners, loss of gloss, stains, etc.

G: Well played with little luster and significant surface noise. Despite defects, record should still play all the way through without skipping. Several cover flaws will be apparent, but should not obliterate the artwork.

P: Any record or cover that does not qualify for the above Good grading should be seen as Poor. Several cover flaws.
