For Sale: MILES DAVIS "KIND OF BLUE" VINYL LP - A 1959 COLUMBIA 'SIX EYE'

• White label STEREO Promo. 

• Side 1 matrix number (pressed)= XSM47326-1E-

• Side 2 matrix number (pressed)= XSM47327-1K


The rarity of this particular pressing can't be understated. It is very difficult to find any copies of the CS 8163 white label demo with which to compare. A copy was sold in 2010 for slightly more than $1,300.00 USD, according to the site "JazzCollectors.com" (Jan. 2011). I'm pricing this copy off of the very reputable site, . 

In addition to the ephemeral appeal and unique nature of this pressing, the pressing has a reverse playing order listed on both the sleeve and label. It contains a mis-spelling of Cannonball Adderley's name (listed as "Adderly" on the front cover.

REGARDING SHIPPING

Due to the nature of this LP, I would not use Media Mail, put it in a cardboard container and merely hope that all goes accordingly. Any record that sells for over $100 must be shipped by Priority mail which is $15.00 which will also have signature confirmation. Its a bit higher on the shipping due to double boxing. It's the only shipping method that Paypal/Ebay will protect the seller.  I will pay for insurance.     NOTE: For overseas buyers: Due to it's value, this LP must ship by International Global Express mail which includes signature confirmation, which paypal/ebay can track on-line.can actually see who signs for it. This is the only method of shipping that they offer seller protection-which is also effectively buyer protection. It's a bit more at $46 but I am willing to pay for half of the cost, leaving you wit a charge of  $23. I accept Paypal. I will send you an invoice with the total shipping cost.
