Over the next few weeks I will be listing more titles from a really nice jazz collection.

The albums are generally in good condition, especially when you consider their age many getting on for 50 years. Some although played quite a lot still sound really good and play MUCH BETTER THAN THEY LOOK.

THIS IS THE CASE WITH THIS BATCH OF LISTINGS~~MOST UNDER STRONG LIGHT WOULD BE GRADED AROUND THE VG+ MARK BUT IN MOST CASES PLAY MUCH BETTER THAN THEY LOOK~THE HEAVY VINYL ORIGINAL PRESSES STAND THE TEST OF TIME WELL!!!.

Rare original Prestige issue issue with RVG in run~out.

Another copy of this sought after original USA Prestige issue~heavy vinyl (deep~groove) pressing.

Considering the Lp is over 50 years old this is a VG+ copy and having played it the heavy vinyl press still sounds really good with no skips, repeats or distortion.

OVERALL CONDITION

SLEEVE~ VG++

VINYL ~ DEEP~GROOVE~ looks at least VG+ but plays much better than that. Like many pressings from this time a slightly noisy run~in ~~but from then on great sounds!

GRADING : I grade records firstly visually and sample aurally for overall sound quality. Should you feel I have misgraded please remember that I offer a full NO QUIBBLE refund or agreed price reduction if I am off the mark.

NEAR MINT (NM)~~a top copy~audio listening and visual grading has not revealed any imperfections. Lp is guaranteed to sound superb and shows very little sign of playing.

NEAR EXCELLENT (EX or EX+)~~careful visual inspection audio sampling has not revealed any major imperfections such as clicks or skips~~the LP should sound superb and it will be hard to find a better copy. Sleeve and any inserts/inners are in excellent shape. You will not be disappointed.

VG+~~ audio listening has revealed some limited surface noise (especially at run~in groove and towards start of each side and the run~out groove) or the odd crackle here and there. Visually the Lp may have light scuffs but nothing major though has obviously been played a few times. There should be no skips or repeats and play without distortion.

Sleeve might have light creases or minor ringwear or spine wear but nothing too serious.

Overall the Lp and sleeve are still quite acceptable and a better copy may never come along!

STILL PERFECTLY PLAYABLE AND STILL A VERY ACCEPTABLE SOUND!!

VG~~not great and may have surface noise throughout but I will flag up this grading rarely.

The sleeve will have seen better days.

Probably worth it for rarity value.
