Featuring the magnificent Mike Valvano, this record has been described as 'The Holy Grail of early British Motown releases'. I'll let you decide. If you've read this far, then you probably already know just how rare this record is. It is offered with NO RESERVE.     

  CONDITION: VINYL NEAR MINT-/EXCELLENT+++ The unwarped vinyl is clean, bright and almost unmarked with truely excellent sound reproduction on both sides, although there is some occasional unobtrusive background hiss on the B Side, which I have often found to be typical of Oriole pressings of the time. LABELS NEAR MINT- The four-prong circular push-out centre is strong and complete without obvious spindle marks. The grooved matt black and white paper labels are clean and unmarked with clear black,white and silver printing. SLEEVE NEAR MINT- The yellow, black and white Oriole company die-cut paper sleeve just shows some light creasing and has no folds, splits, tears, stains or writing.

All photographs are of the actual item offered for sale: I never use 'stock' pictures or re-use old photos of previously sold stock.

All items are listed for 10 days, running from Thursdays to Sundays. If you wish to leave a message, or ask a question, please try to do so before the last Sunday as I try not to be in front of my laptop on my day off. Also, I always let my auctions run their full course, so please do not contact me asking if the item can be sold early. Live a little, enjoy the thrill of bidding.

If you win an item, please wait for me to invoice you before you make any payment, especially if you have bought more than one item - you will be entitled to a postage discount for multiple items.

Payment may only be made in UK £ Sterling: I accept PayPal, UK personal cheques (with bank guarantee card details) and most credit/debit cards. I cannot accept cash payments unless they are offered in person upon collection or delivery.

I am always happy to receive any wants-lists, but file them carefully on little bits of paper under slightly larger bits of paper that aren't always quite where they should be. I will guarantee to find what you want within minutes of you a) finding it elsewhere, b) deciding you can live without Venezuelan Death Metal after all, or c) losing the will to live.

Despite that, all my vinyl is strictly graded using the Record Collector RRPG system, and all goods are properly protected and posted in strong, new Covers 33 packaging. Please recycle the packing cardboard if possible - it might just offset the damage done when the item was originally manufactured. Alternatively, throw it away and set fire to a couple of tyres.

If you are bidding, please read all descriptions fully and take the time to read my Postage and Packaging costs and my Returns Policy. Certificates of Posting are obtained for all items despatched, without exception, but I can accept no liability for any items that may be lost or damaged in the post, although I will happily provide you with any necessary paperwork in the event of you claiming against Royal Mail. I always strongly recommend that you select the insured option for postage irrespective of the item's value.

Items selling for under £34 within the UK will be posted by the Royal Mail First Class service, unless insurance is requested, while items selling for £34 or above will ONLY be posted by the Special Delivery Next Day service, which will include insurance. Items selling for under £34 to customers abroad will be dispatched using the standard Airmail (Small Packets) service; for items selling at £34 or over I will ONLY use the Royal Mail International Signed For service, which will also include insurance equal to the selling price. For very expensive items (i.e. £500+), please contact me if you will require a courier service, as for some overseas destinations this is often the safest and most guaranteeable method of delivery.
