Description

In the early 80's, a Nottingham DJ, Graham Neale, on his Radio Trent show, hosted a competition to win a Mike Rutherford signed promo LP for "Smallcreep's Day". This competition was subsequently won by Graham Pickering who has given me this copy to sell on his behalf.

The vinyl outer sleeve is signed by Mike Rutherford with the message "Happy Xmas Many Thanks from Mike Rutherford". The back of the LP sleeve has a stamped "promo label". The record is housed within an inner sleeve that has lyrics and credits. Also included in this pack is DJ Graham Neales' promo photo signed to Graham and also a compliment slip from Hit and Run Music Ltd apologising for the delay in posting it. Finally also included, is the original envelope that the record was delivered in which shows the Radio Trent franking logo and the date of the postmark shows it was posted on 25 February 1982 - some two years after the LP's UK release.

The Vinyl record is in "good" condition and the sleeves are in very good condition. it certainly has been played and there are marks on the record and its crackly in places but crucially it doesn't jump when played. The Cat No is CAS 1149 and this record reached number 13 in the UK charts in 1980.
