A rare opportunity to bid on an extremely rare BBC "In Concert" recording of MIKE OLDFIELD live.This is a BBC transcription disc. Condition is NEAR MINT

On 29-Dec-04 at 11:50:03 GMT, seller added the following information:

This is a BBC recording of a live concert from 1979. It is Mike Oldfield with orchestra, choir and additional musicians conducted by David Bedford and features the vocalist Maddy Prior. Side one is a live performance of "Incantation" and side two is a live performance of "Tubular Bells". The label is white with green printing and the "In Concert" No is 206. It is a BBC Transciption Services pressing Catalogue No CN3393/S Stereo. There is no cue-sheet and it comes in just a paper sleeve. This pressing was made for internal use at the BBC and has never been released to the public. The recording is introduced by Brian Matthew. Since listing this item I have been swamped with emails asking for scans and more information. I am not able to send scans and the above is all I can tell interested bidders about this item.
