Description

MIKE OLDFIELD "Islands" original PROMO LP + PRESS KIT from 1987 (Virgin 90645). PRESS KIT comes in a nice black Virgin folder and includes a Black & White photo and 2 Page Bio. Promo edition LP as indicated by the Gold Promo stamp on back of sleeve. This is a US pressing and has a unique black and white sleeve completely different than European editions. This album includes a great cast of guest artists (some of them progressive rock legends) including Kevin Ayers, Bonnie Tyler, Geoff Downes, Max Bacon, Andy Mackay (of Roxy Music), Micky Moody, Rick Fenn (of 10cc), Pierre Moerlen (of Gong) and many more. Sleeve has the normal Promo saw mark on the edge otherwise EX. Record is Near Mint.
