MIDNIGHT SUN – “self-titled” (1972) Kapp-3667 original pressing EX/M- (cover/record)
Killer psychy hard rock and prog by this group from Denmark that featured Peer Frost on lead guitar. This is the third (original) version of the album. First the group recorded a similar album under the name “Rainbow Band” in 1970. Then, they fired the vocalist and re-recorded the album and added a couple of songs and issued a new (second) album under the same Rainbow Band name. Then, because of legal issues, they changed their name and re-released the album as Midnight Sun with yet another song added for the American issue – this third release – the original U.S. release from 1972 with a total of nine songs. Allan Mortensen is the lead singer, and it includes sa and flute, drums, bass, guitar and piano. Amazing Roger Dean cover art! Really rare and sought after now!
This is an original pressing. The cover is beautiful with only the slightest wear and a “sample copy” promo sticker on the back cover. The original multi-colored label vinyl is beautiful, glossy and clean. Conservative grading: EX/M- (cover/record).

I package all LPs securely in record mailers and remove the vinyl from the covers to prevent seam splits during mailing. I do not just stick your record in a priority mailer box from the post office or between two thin pieces of cardboard with no additional packaging materials like so many others!!!
