On 1966 CBS 202469..Mick Softley & The Summer Suns...Am I The Red One b/w That's Not My Kind Of Love.
A very rare 45 indeed, very much of its time... hippy-trippy acid dropping psychedelia !!!
Mick Softley was one of the stranger characters of the 1960s music scene. An upbeat track with psych reverb , a strange quirky masterpiece which echoed his schizophrenic life which was unpredictable and erratic to say the least. Am I The Red One appears on the Acid Drops compilation of obscure classics.
VINYL...A-side...EXCELLENT- ..nice high sheen, a few hairlines, plays well, actual track plays very clean (some light noise on the blank wax intro)...B-side ...a few visible surface marks...plays VG with some surface noise. Comes in a period CBS sleeve in excellent order.
