MICHEL MOULINIE "Chrysalide"

Perfectly crafted music on a sole release, the artist comes and then vanishes into obscurity. Recorded on Crypto, a small label in Avant Guard, experimental French. This one is an ambient, electronic work, using sound on sound techniques with electric violins and acoustic guitars, synthesizers and bass loops.
One man show Moulinie plays all the instruments himself and pays homage to artists like Manuel Gottsching, Mike Oldfield, Phillip Besombes and probably early Brian Eno.  Moulinie's work is similar to other like minded French underground artists such as Phillippe Besombes and Richard Pinhas. The use of acoustic guitar gives the recording a warm touch, that can be missing from the more clinical works of the 70s. A very beautiful album and uniquein terms of sound and execution. ABSOLUTLY RARE, NO REISSUE !!!

CONDITION OF THIS RECORD :

Picture Sleeve : really very clean and in really good condition, EXCEPT the right lower corner (damaged corner) very visible on the photo by enlarging. See photos and enlarge, and don't hesitate to ask for more details or scanned views if you want !

Vinyl : this record looks absolutly really very clean and shiny, visually nearly nm, without any suspect trace, and it sounds really great, but please, make your own idea and listen to complete extracts and don't hesitate for any question !!!

I don’t use the grading system, because of too many  disputes and different interpretations (some say vg for vg+, some others say nm for ex, and finally, nobody really knows ! That’s why I prefer you to listen to extract, taken directly from the vinyl, and look at pictures which you can enlarge). I describe things such as they are, I try to do it the best I can, but you can ask for any question, then I’ll try to give you the answer as soon as possible ! Just look at my feedbacks !
