Description
This is an auction for a rare box set by Michael Nesmith, The Prison.
This was only released in the US with the UK pressing shelved. This was released by Pacific Arts some time in the 1970s and has catalogue number PAC101.
Condition: The box comes in fine condition with a mere touch of discolour in places on the front and one tiny tear to the mouth inside edge, probably done when opening. Otherwise this box is fine, nice hinge, good edges and corners, spine perfect.
This comes with its original booklet which is mint.
This also comes with its original picture inner sleeve that has a little creasing but is otherwise fine.
Both labels look brand new, under the closest of examinations I can see perhaps one spindle mark on this. The centre hole is perfect and shows no signs of wear.
The vinyl has quite a few very faint drag/ghost marks, I gave this a play and they are completely non-audible, other than the very occasional quiet crackle this plays as new. This plays with very little, if any, lessening in sound quality and does not suffer from any lessening due to wear as this has been played a few times at most.
This one is graded at an ultra fussy VG+- down-graded for the visble surface marks despite sounding a comfotable near mint.
A fine collectable and not seen very often in the UK.
