Description
This is a very nice stereo Japanese pressing of Riccardo Muti and the Philadelphia Orchestra performing Stravinsky’s The Rite of Spring as issued by Mobile Fidelity (catalogue number MFSL 1-519). The record is a regular weight LP (NOT 180g) and was originally issued by Angel/EMI Records. The record is from my personal collection and was initially cleaned on a VPI record vacuum and treated with Last Record preservative. It was re-cleaned with an Audio Desk Ultra-sonic record cleaner.
The record was recently play-graded using a Lyra Kleos cartridge on a VPI Classic IV turntable. Appearance-wise, the record is in near mint condition with no scuffs or scratches and plays quietly with 12 light ticks noted on side 1 and 10 on side 2.
The jacket is in very good condition with a 1/2” start of a seam split near the top of the spine and there is some ring wear along the top on the back. The LP has the original MFSL cardboard inner sleeve protector.
