AUDIOPHILE CLOSET CLEANING SALE. I WILL BE CLEANING OUT MANY ITEMS THAT HAVEN'T SEEN THE LIGHT OF DAY FOR YEARS. This is an ultra rare promo copy of the Mobile Fidelity Rolling Stones box set (MFSL RC-1). Regular versions of the set have a serial number plate at the bottom of the inside of the door, under the list of albums. This one has no number plate at all, which is what they did for promo sets. This set is one of the most sought after MoFi. items along with the Beatles box, and the UHQR titles. I have never seen another promo copy like this one, and probably will never see one again. The records are all in beautiful NM condition with no marks or scratches. The generic red jackets are all nice with no spliting. With this set they gave you a book with all the record jackets in it since the actual jackets were just the generic red ones. That book is in very nice condtiion. The reproduction of the 3-D Satanic Majesties Request cover is little wavey, but not as much as you usually see it. The black box has some marks at the top, and a little on the side. I can't tell if these are scuffs, or just something that rubbed off on it. It is possible that they might clean off. I have not tried. The gold clasp for the door is bright and shiney. The door sits at a little bit of an angle. There is no numbered certificate with this since it has no number. I hope I have covered everything, but feel free to ask if you think of anything else.
