MFSL - Count Basie and his Orchestra - "April In Paris " LIMITED EDITION # 2435 . This fine jazz album , featuring "The Count" playing the Piano , plying his ivory wares like no other , needs no introduction and is full of classic tracks and is a stunningly and beautiful recording. Well recorded , smooth and articulated , and with an excellent " Chill - out " factor after a tough day at work , it allows you to remember a bygone era when all we had to do was to decide how we were going to spend an evening , the wine we were drinking, and how to unwind . This is a *FACTORY SEALED LIMITED EDITION # 1819 , and is Long, Long Gone OOP , and was pressed by MFSL with utmost care, using the original studio master tapes on 200gram Super Virgin vinyl at Halfspeed transfer to get every last note, every breath into the pressing and it is a real gem. You haven't heard this album until you hear this pressing . As the years go by , this is going only up in rarity and value, so don't delay. *PLEASE NOTE - the original factory plastic bag has an approx. 1 1/2 " split along the serrated opening strip bottom end and a approx 1/2"separation on the other end of the serrated opening strip , a common issue with MFSL albums after all these years .
