The auction is for the MFSL box set The Beatles Collection . The box itself is a well made black wood box with gold embossed letering and brass hinges and brass clasp . The 14 LP set includes all 13 of the Beatles British released albums including the double White Album and the rare With The Beatles . This is a very rare album because the master pressing plate was broken at the factory . The albums are all half speed masters pressed on virgin vinyl by MFSL . If you would like to know more about these great pressings wikipedia is a easy source . It also includes a book with photos off all the Beatles British album covers . Inside the cover of this book is the certificate of authenticity hand signed and hand numbered . This is number 6696 of the 25000 made Also in the box is a Geodisc alignment tool and a certificate of warranty . I owned a record store in Portland OR. for 20 years . I purchased this box at that time I have never played any of the records . The box is the way MFSL shipped it to me . It will come with original shipping carton that does have some ware to it . Also when I received it one of the top corner has a small wrinkle in the material that covers the wood box . Please see all photos .
