Description
Metallica - Ride The Lightning
Megaforce Records, MRI 769
Super-nice true first Megaforce pressing with the printed inner sleeve. Later Megaforce pressings (still pre-Elektra at that point) have only a plain white sleeve. Silver labels. Back cover track list includes the incorrect "For Whom the Bells Toll".
Condition:
Vinyl: EX. Very clean! Only a small number of extremely faint hairlines, which weren't immediately visible for being so slight. Visually graded under bright light, using strong reading glasses for extra magnification.
Cover: Strong VG++. Very glossy! No creases anywhere, but lower corners have a tiny degree of denting. See photos.
Inner sleeve: VG++. No tears, no splitting- all seams intact! Shows evidence of normal handling, but with no fingerprints marring the dark print. Much nicer than usual! To preserve the sleeve, the record will be placed inside a secondary generic white sleeve.
Packaging: Preserving the current condition of this lp is important to me! I will use a sturdy RECTANGULAR mailer that prevents damage to the corners of the box.

USA: $4 Media Mail, or whichever faster or more secure delivery mode you prefer (in which case I will invoice the remaining shipping balance)
International: Shipping cost will be actual, based on your location. I will invoice the remaining shipping balance once it is determined/agreed upon.
Grading:
Basic Goldmine standards, except that I will use a straight-up "M" if something actually appears perfect (it does happen, though rarely). I grade under a bright bulb while using strong reading glasses, so I see everything. In my opinion, "Sealed" can be a record grade, but is not a legit cover grade! Cover defects will be noted, even if sealed!
