PLEASE NOTE: I WILL ONLY GRADE AN OPENED LP NEAR MINT (NM) IF I CAN GUARANTEE IT HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED (i.e. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER).  OTHERWISE, NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) IS THE ABSOLUTE HIGHEST GRADE I WILL ASSIGN AN OPENED LP.


INSANELY RARE Howie Weinberg mastered Allied pressing from 1984? on Elektra's red & black label with AR suffix at the bottom of the labels, NO Allied stamp in the dead wax on either side, SRC (Specialty Records Corporation) logo and MASTERDISK stamped in the dead wax on both sides, 9 60396-1 catalog number printed on the spine and original glossy printed inner sleeve with complete lyrics!!!  Release year is assumed to be 1984 but cannot be confirmed as there isn't a single entry for this pressing anywhere in the massive, sprawling Discogs database whatsoever.  I have had well over 40 copies of this LP pass through my hands in my 45 years of collecting and selling and I have never seen this variant before.  THAT'S how you know it's rare.   LP side 2 is a very nice VG with a few light scuffs and side 1 is a nice VG+ with even fewer and lighter scuffs.  Cover is a very nice VG+ with just a hint of ring.  Every Allied pressing I have ever come across has had the factory logo stamped in the dead wax and it's completely absent on this copy.  Anyone with ANY information on this one please get in touch as I'm stumped and as much as I like to think I know it all I'm not too proud to ask for help.


I USE GOLDMINE GRADING~ MINT (SEALED)  NEAR MINT: LOOKS UNPLAYED VG++:  VERY VERY MINIMAL SIGNS OF US VG+:  AVERAGE SIGNS OF USE, NOTHING DEEP, SUPERFICIAL VG:  STILL AN OK RECORD, NOISE BETWEEN SONGS GOOD: WORN BUT PLAYS FINE WITH DISTRACTING NOISE POOR:  FILLER COPY ONLY.  LOTS OF SCRATCHES
