Description

This is a very rare original PROMO ONLY copy of the classic MASTER OF PUPPETS 12" by METALLICA on Elektra Records from 1986 (ST-ED-5139-A-SP).  The record consists of a 3 minute, 32 second edit of the song, which fades out at the end.  This version is often referred to by collectors as "Part 1 - vocal/edit".  As pictured, the record comes in it's original Elektra sleeve with promo sticker on upper right hand corner reading, "Metallica; Master of Puppets; Part 1; From the gold album (and soon to be platinum) Master of Puppets; Get the idea? ED 5139."  The vinyl is in NM condition.  It has only been played five or six times.
