Description
METALLICA – THE GOOD THE BAD & THE LIVE: The 6 & Half Year Anniversary 12” Collection. It is an item that is getting quite hard to find.
This box set was issued in the UK (I think) in 1990 by the band’s label Vertigo/Polygram. It contains re-issues of 5 previously issued 12” singles and EP’s plus a special 12” Live EP. There is also a fold out poster of the band.
The 12” records are:
1) JUMP IN THE FIRE (Seek And Destroy – Live / Phantom Lord – Live) originally released January 1984.
2) CREEPING DEATH (Am I Evil? / Blitzkrieg) originally released November 1984.
3)The $5.98 EP – GARAGE DAYS REVISITED (Helpless / The Small Hours / The Wait / Crash Course In Brain Surgery / Last Caress/Green Hell) originally released August 1987.
4) HARVESTER OF SORROW (Breadfan / The Prince) originally released September 1988.
5) ONE – (For Whom The Bell Tolls –Live) / Welcome Home (Sanitarium) – Live) originally released March 1989.
THE 6 & HALF YEAR ANNIVERSARY LIVE EP (Harvester Of Sorrow / One / Breadman) Recorded Live at The Coliseum, Seattle on August 29th & 30th 1989.
The records are in EX to VG+(+) condition. They were issued without paper or plastic inner sleeves so there are some sleeve marks from the records sliding in and out of the covers. The $5.98 EP has several marks but it plays well without any loss of listening enjoyment.
The individual covers are in EXCELLENT condition with just a hint of storage wear. The box is EX Minus. It has some signs of wear on the opening edge and a small scuff on the bottom corner.
The poster is in EXCELLENT condition.
